The Crashing Airship

Synopsis

A small floating city-state loses its supporting balloons and falls unstoppably towards Earth. The 22-year-old Franziska fights against the downfall and proposes a radical solution: dropping the heavy cathedral to save the city. The film tells of the fear of losing everything, of political power questions, and of love – in a retro-futuristic, slightly steampunk world.
