Synopsis

An experimental short film in the realm of Steam-/Retrofuturism. Melanie dreams of a relationship with David. When she realizes he is attracted to her superior, her perception shifts. Jealousy, delusion, and violence blend together as reality increasingly disintegrates. The film tells of toxic work structures, peer pressure, and emotional alienation – observed by a surreal, green fish. The film was created as a virtual production with environments generated live in Unreal Engine 5.
